A Circuiting Engineer is required to assist in the planning and creation of network configuration data and connectivity to Vendors/Operations. Working for a large Mobile Telecoms organisation this role will require circuiting knowledge of 2G and 3G networks.

Responsibilities/Core Tasks:

• Analyses requirements and plans circuit routes, identifying and requesting details as appropriate.
• Update, audit, maintain and create data for the radio and transmission network.
• Work closely with other departments to support optimisation activities and data /connectivity related discrepancies and faults.
• Specify and manage development of network planning tools in line with network changes and infrastructure evolution.
• Reporting and maintaining network KPIs and SLAs as required.

Key requirements:

• A strong background of network/circuit configuration
• Working knowledge of circuiting within a 2G and 3G Network essential
• A Working background with RAN /radio/transmission networks

An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer with a strong background in the mobile telecoms industry to take the role of Principal Consultant. You should have a background in Circuiting, with a strong knowledge of 3G networks and Cramer. You will be responsible for assisting our leading mobile telecoms clients with candidate selection for high profile 3G network projects.

This will involve:

• Devising a technical competency based pre-screening interview for potential Circuiting Engineers
• Conducting technical pre-screening on selected candidates
• Coaching & Training
• Team Leading / Operations
• Occasionally providing cover for sickness / holiday

This role would suit a Circuiting Engineer who would like to take a new step in their career. You should have a strong background in Circuiting, with excellent knowledge of the following:

• Previous experience of creating and managing implementation of network circuiting and jumpering data in RAN/ transmission cellular environment.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Mapinfo, Enterprise, Business Objects and common relational databases.
• Excellent knowledge of Cramer
• A background in team management or training
