Transmission Planning Engineer is responsible to prepare 2G-3G rehoming plan. He/She is a rehoming leader for national wide in HCPT project.He/She is providing detailed network planning services for Nokia Siemens Network customers for network implementation projects in collaboration with project team. Key counterparts are NSN project team (network planning management or colleaques, site acquisition, telecom implementation, project management, technical management) and customer organization (network engineering team). The main responsibility areas are: 2G/3G Transmission network Architecture Design & techno consulting in NSN customer projects Detailed Transmission Network Parameter planning to implement network solutions of operators. Working independently in customer premises or taking he lead/participating in the project team.

• Able to do Reparenting 2G/3G ADJG
• Able to do some Changing Parameter on OSS NetAct
• Able to do Alarm Monitoring and trouble shooting on NetAct OSS

Position Requirements:

• 2G, EDGE and 3G Transmission network Architecture Design include IP backhaul solution.
• Minimum 8 years experience in transmission planning or optimization technologies
• RNC dimensioning & optimization.
• Planning and design of PDH and SDH transmission network. Topology, capacity and dimensioning.
• Access transmission network planning.
• Synchronization and DCN planning.
• Working experience with database and macros is an advantage.
• Knowledge skills in Transmission Planning, Measurement & Optimization tools.

General scope of work:

The individual is expected to be involved in pre-sales consultancy, tenders and/or network rollout/optimization projects. He/She supports Account Teams/Project Teams/Customers directly to ensure planning /optimization related activities, capable to work independently or lead the team and has a good understanding planning & optimization area. Personal capability development and transfer (to customers/own team members/partners) are essential parts of this role as well.

Personal Attributes:

• BSc in Telecommunication, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networking and/or any other relevant qualifications.
