NSN PS Core Network Engineer
A world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally now urgently require experienced Packet Switching Engineers with experience of Nokia-Siemens SGSN and associated products.
Must have strong IP skills - Experience within Nokia-Siemens Packet Switching Environment and products is essential. Also sort is previous Network integration experience.
Expected is a working knowledge of Nokia SGSN and GGSN or SGSN and Flexi Server, and a good working knowledge of TCP/IP. Exposure to Cisco routers and switches, internetworking as well as comprehensive knowledge of SS7, and SIGTRAN would be advantageous.
Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of end to end packet core services, including Mobility management and Session management.
Must have previous experience working in a 3G Environment. This should preferably involve planning and executing tasks, analysing problems and recommending solutions. A flexible approach to problems and their resolution is required.

Main responsibilities will include:
- RNC Network integration and datafill.
- Operations and Maintenance functions with 3G SGSN.
Solid knowledge of Nokia-Siemens PS Equipment - preferably in an Operational or Data Management Role is required.
