Job Description : Senior BSS engineers
Senior BSS engineers with experience with BTS/BSC are needed for a large project based in a desirable location in Asia
- Responsible for on-site survey, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of GSM/3G/WIMAX network equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers through remote and on-site trouble-shooting.
- Perform software commissioning of wireless Network elements and integration with related network elements.
- Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process.
- Interface with third party to locate technical problems that may arise during the integration.
- On site Maintenance support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
- Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process.
- Pre-sales support for testing, bidding or holding workshops.
- Cooperate with Project Manager to deal with engineering management and Subcontractor engineer management on-site.
- Provide technical solution planning and hands-on support on GSM/3G/WIMAX.
Requirements :
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or related area.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in telecommunication industry.
- Prior knowlwege or working experience in at least one or a combination of the following telecommunication technologies such as GSM, GPRS, WIMAX, UMTS, BTS, and BSC.
- Proficiency in English language and good writing skills are essential.
- Able to work in fast pace working environment
- Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage.
- Able to travel overseas for business trip will be an advantage.
