IBS Engineer

The Engineer Should be able to perfom the following tasks:

• Feasibility surveys of buildings to check and finalize the need of IBS.
• IBS design surveys to decide antenna locations in the building (adjustment in design according to cabinet location and cable routes).
• Link Budget Calculation and recommendations for changes in design if required.
• Review and verify IBS Design reports received from the vendor on basis of which the site is implemented.
• Verification of frequency and scrambling code plan for indoor sites.
• Walk-Tests of IBS sites using NEMO Handy to measure the performance of 2G, 3G and HSDPA.
• Log-file analysis using NEMO Analyzer to check and improve the performance of 2G, 3G and HSDPA.
• Pre-launch Optimization of IBS sites.
• Escalation of non-radio (for example hardware) issues with the concerned departments and follow-up of those issues till resolution.
• Preparation of reports for self walk-tested sites and reviewing walk-test reports received from the vendor. (Final Acceptance).
• Escalation of KPI issues with the vendor and support to the vendor for their resolution.
• Coordination with vendor, project control and subcontractors for meeting certain rollout requirements.
• IBS roll out reporting to the management.
