Nortel GGSN Engineer
Our client is a Market Leading Telecoms Company and they are recruiting for a GGSN Engineer.
Requirements :
- Candidate must have worked in a Telecoms environment and have working knowledge of Nortel GGSN, SGSN, SS7, ATM and have worked on the core network.
- A customer oriented engineer required to build a robust customer relationship and enhance satisfaction by utilising superior product knowledge and network level competence.
- 1st / 2nd line support on Nortel products.
- The objectives are early problem identification and fault prevention.
- Be single point of contact for Customer Service Requests.
- Lead customer meetings.
- Specialist fault investigation, identify preventative maintenance actions.
- Provide emergency support when required.
- Maintain good knowledge of the customer's operational environment and the specifics of the customer network configuration and deployment
- Identify service beyond contract i.e. identifying new business opportunities and address those through established channels.
