RNC and RAN Databuild Engineer

My client a leading Telecommunications Company URGENTLY requires a RNC and RAN Databuild Engineer to be based on site in Berkshire.

The successful RNC and RAN Databuild Engineer will require the following:

• Excellent working knowledge of mobile telecommunications integration, configuration or commissioning.
• Excellent working knowledge of Nokia kit.
• Good technical knowledge of 3G telecommunications networks.
• Proficient with 2nd or 3rd line support.

As the successful RNC and RAN Databuild Engineer your duties will include:

• Preparation and application of configuration data for both new and existing sites to the network.
• Quality check data before application to the network to ensure that input errors are kept to a minimum.
• Delivery to operations.
• Working closely with other departments to support optimisation activities and data related faults. Central point of reference for databuild queries.
• Network audits to be carried out weekly- checking actual against planned.
• Develop knowledge of current and future technology and methods.
• Technical approval for Operation changes.
• Technical process and procedure reviews.
