BSS Planning Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a BSS Planning Engineer to manage the processes and supervise the team, with the responsibility for all issues relating to BSC/RNC capacity planning.

Key responsibilities:

• To supervise and lead the team of engineers and to provide coaching and development where required.
• To design and deliver BSC/RNC capacity in order to support new 2G/3G cell build, transceiver numbers and voice/data traffic.
• To produce long term BSC/RNC plans and forecasts. These will include requirements for new platforms and hardware; transmission requirements to remote sites; BSC/RNC traffic and utilisations.

Candidates should have a strong background within the telecommunications industry and a thorough understanding of structure and operation of GSM, GPRS and UMTS networks.
