NSN - Data Management Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Nokia-Siemens Networks Data Management Engineer to work for a leading mobile telecommunications company based in Berkshire.
Required within a busy Data Management Team for a UK Network Operator. Reporting to the Team Leader, an Engineer with experience of Data Management and data fill within a 2G or 3G Environment. In particular, a sound transmission background would be beneficial. Must be able to analyse problems and recommend solutions, create and maintain records, liase with other departments - A flexible approach to problems and their resolution is required.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Creating Data builds for Nokia-Siemens Core network products
- Detailing new connections and changes.
- Program integration of new Elements.
- Administering Routing, Traffic, Charging, Administrative, and Signalling changes.
- Dealing with implementation of “Business as usual” data changes once tested.
- Creation, tracking, and maintenance of Circuit provisioning requests.
- Liase with Network Operations department to ensure delivery of accurate data.
- Monitoring Network capacity utilisation.
- Providing feedback to Detailed Designs regarding capacity, dimensioning, and parameter changes.
