Cell Planning and Optimization Engineer

Are you a Cell Planning and Optimization Engineer looking for a long term contract and the opportunity to work for a leading telecoms project?

The position of offer will suit a cell planning engineer with as many of the following as possible:

• Solid 2G and 3G Cell Planning and Optimization skills
• Thorough knowledge of GSM or UMTS
• Good database (MS ACCESS) skills
• Good PC and UNIX skills

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the Network performance of a particular geographical area assigned to you, within a region of the UK network. You will be expected to achieve the coverage/capacity targets set for your assigned area of the Network within target dates, and to monitor the daily performance statistics for your area, taking appropriate actions to sustain and improve the Network performance.
