Mobile Packet Core Engineer
My client, a leading mobile telecoms organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Packet Core Engineer. The aim of the role is to deliver high quality customers meeting cost and timescale requirements.Responsibilities include:
- Day to day solutions definition, design and solutions validation for all of the Mobile Packet Core solution, notably the SGSN, GGSN, NESP, CG components) elements.
- The execution and supporting the planning of all element design, validation and implementation activities carried out by the team.
- Delivery of Service Control KPIs as agreed
- Management of vendors on all aspects of design functionality, performance, capacity, product evolution, feature delivery and fault resolution.
- Evaluation, acceptance testing and delivery of new software releases into the corporate & mobile networks
Technical Competencies:
- Good Knowledge of Mobile Packet Service Control using IN Data Base products
- Good knowledge of GSM/UMTS, IN and OSA / Parlay.
- Good knowledge of HTTP, Cache, Radius and Proxy environments
- Good Knowledge of MTP, SCCP, TC, NUP / UK-IUP, ETSI ISUP, ETSI Core INAP, GSM MAP, GSM CAP (Camel), GSM BSSAP
- Good knowledge of Real Time Rating Engines Environments
- Proven background in Mobile Packet Core systems delivery
- Excellent working knowledge of SGSN, GGSN, OSA Gateway & Charging Gatewaysign and delivery
