Description
- Manage the design and development of the PIM, and Device Management services.
- Responsible for the effort to integrate the above services into WCDMA networks including both network and device integration.
- Manage the design and development of the interfaces between the above mentioned data services and those interfaces that share integration with the iDEN systems.
- Manage the design and development of the interfaces on the above mentioned data services that are needed to support third party application programmers.
- Manage vendor(s) of above mentioned data service providers at all phases of project lifecycle.
- Establish and manage global expectations of current and planned functionality of the above mentioned data services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of wireless Value Added Services.
- Experience with OMA SUPL-based location service and location service in general including Assisted-GPS concepts, round trip time, TDOA, etc.
- Experience with OMA DM for bootstrapping provisioning data, remote maintenance, configuration reporting, device diagnostics, firmware and software upgrade.
- Experience evaluating the functionality, design, and development of value added data services within a wireless telecom business, including providing detailed cost input for business case evaluation.
- 8+ years of directly related work experience, ideally with a wireless carrier or wireless services vendor.
- Minimum 4 year technical degree -- electrical engineering, computer science.
