Customer Support Engineer SC - PS Core (2G/3G), Canada

We are currently looking for a Customer Support Engineer SC - PS Core (2G/3G) for a temporary role based in Montreal, Canada.

Scope of Work Engineering:
Support for Commissioning, Integration and System Acceptance Testing (SAT) of Nokia-Siemens Networks PS Core Network elements (SGSN, FLEXI-ISN/GGSN and DNS). These engineering resources must have experience in test, turn up and integration of NSN PS Core products in a customer environment.

Specific tasks will include:
Commissioning of SGSN, FLEXI ISN/GGSN and DNS and Integration of the PS Core (includng Fault isolation and resolution, NSN HLR Integration, OSS/NetAct/Advantage Commander Integration, NSN and Huawei RAN Integration, Interoperability Testing (IOT) with customer vendors (Huawei, Cisco, HP), Iu Flex (Inter-MSO integration), and MOCN (inter-Operator integration). Project includes multiple PS Core Network deployments in customer Labs and Mobile Switching Operators Centers (MSO's) across Canada(Toronto area, Montreal area, Calgary area and Vancouver area).

Brief Description of works:
  • Commissioning, Integration, System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Engineering support for NSN PS Core elements at customer MSO and /or Lab facilities.
  • Completion of SGSN/FLEXI-ISN/GGSN and DNS NSN Site Folder Documentation and Test Logs for Commissioning and Integration as required.
  • Jointly working with NSN Customer reps on jointly, pre-agreed System Acceptance Testing, documentation and test logs.
  • Implementation of S/W and or H/W upgrades to equipment as required.
  • Interoperability Testing (IOT) and Engineering support for Customer vendors as required.
  • Providing timely daily status reports of progress and issues to NSN Project Management team.
