Databuild Engineers, England


DATABUILD ENGINEERS required to work for a large telecommunications company based in Berkshire.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the integrity of the network is maintained in the most efficient and effective manner by the production of radio and transmission network data prepared to an agreed standard and issued to the vendor/Operations within specified time constraints.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and creation of network configuration data and connectivity to vendors/Operations in agreed timeframes and to agreed standard
  • To be able to devise new tools/solutions for the delivery of assigned projects
  • To have analytical approach while dealing with different problem types
  • Quality checks of all data /connectivity information prepared before issue to the vendor to ensure that network errors are kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure that all planning databases and the network are consistent.
  • Update, audit, maintain and create data for the radio and transmission network.
  • Work closely with other departments to support optimisation activities and data /connectivity related discrepancies and faults.
  • Central point of contact for all databuild/connectivity queries within area of responsibility.
  • Specify and manage development of network planning tools in line with network changes and evolution.
  • Reporting and maintaining network KPIs and SLAs as required.

The successful applicant will have previous knowledge of creating and managing implementation of network data in RAN/Transmission cellular environment.
Candidate must have worked on Nokia system like Netact CM tools etc
Must have good knowledge of MS office particularly Excel and Ms access.
