For one of our main Clients we are immediately looking for an experienced OSS specialist- Network engineer. The Ideal candidate must have solid OSS experience. Experience with Telecom infrastructure. As the OSS Engineer you will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining Network Monitoring Tools, leading OSS projects. This includes developing and maintaining Fault Management, Performance Management, Capacity monitoring, and Incident alarming systems for Network Operations and Engineering. Secondary functions include project management responsibilities and the application of analyzed data and metrics towards development of organization strategy. Efforts include project planning and implementation to increase efficiency and productivity within the organization and providing statistical advisement to management.

Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Develop NOC Monitoring Tools
  • Develop reporting tools based off data from Fault Management and Performance Management products
  • Develop Web Dashboard reports using Web Portals, Perl, Mason and Java languages
  • Develop Trouble Ticketing System for Incident & Change Management.
  • Tech Op's Notification System
  • Database development, including Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres-SQL
  • Develop new alarm sets for new device turn-ups
  • Oversee all OSS project maintenance and development activities
  • Preventive Daily Maintenance on all systems

Knowledge of Arabic an advantage but is not necessary for this role.
