The Ericsson OSS Engineer’s position involves over all System Administration for OSS RC 5.3 & 6.3

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge and good working experience with OSS-RC 5.3 and above.
• Expert in overall system administration activities for OSS-RC (GSM / WCDMA).
• OSS RC 5.3 & 6.3 system administration
• Solaris 10 or above System administration knowledge, Sybase database administration knowledge, VERITAS cluster administration.
• Citrix Metaframe system administration, SUN Microsystem H/W knowledge, Basic knowledge of TCP/IP Networking Routers.
• GSM knowledge: AXE, APG40 BSC MSC HLR Prepaid ,GPRS MGW etc.
• WCDMA knowledge: RNC, RBS, Cells etc
• Ericsson GSM / WCDMA Statically Data, Reports knowledge.
• ENIQ system administration & trouble shooting
• OMBS administration (Back-up Server)
• RPMO administration
• ComInf & PKS server administration
• Excellent knowledge on OSS application i.e. CNA, WRAN Explorer, TSS, RNO, SDM, SMIA, SMO, CHA, OPS, GNIP,ALV, ASM, ALB, etc.
• NetAct (Nokia OSS) knowledge is plus.

My client a market leading Telecoms company urgently seeks an OSS Support Engineer (Dutch Speaking) to join its expanding project. You will be responsible for the security of the entire mobile network, the safe implementation of the amendments in the Radio Network, responsible for any changes in the secure mobile network and the implementation of these changes.

Tasks:

You implement new features and software releases in GSM / UMTS Radio Networks.

You manage OSS systems so that the management of networks are carried out as optimally as possible.

You hand over the implemented change to the regular organization through transferring your expertise.

You ensure improvement proposals in the management of networks and implement it as best / efficient way.

You estimate the risks and set priorities when there are many changes in the network to be done.

Take an active part in project teams, where you are interlocutor for project managers, designers, testers.

For one of our main Clients we are immediately looking for an experienced OSS specialist- Network engineer. The Ideal candidate must have solid OSS experience. Experience with Telecom infrastructure. As the OSS Engineer you will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining Network Monitoring Tools, leading OSS projects. This includes developing and maintaining Fault Management, Performance Management, Capacity monitoring, and Incident alarming systems for Network Operations and Engineering. Secondary functions include project management responsibilities and the application of analyzed data and metrics towards development of organization strategy. Efforts include project planning and implementation to increase efficiency and productivity within the organization and providing statistical advisement to management.

OSS Engineer

Our Client is in need of an OSS Engineer who has strong Installation, commissioning and Integration experience. You will be working during the OSS Upgrade from version 3.1 to 6.2 and this Engineer will also be responsible for babysitting the upgraded system, once the GSDC Integrator leaves the country after the upgrade.
