Power Engineer / SC DC UPS Fault Engineers, England
We are looking for a number of Power / Energy Management Engineers to form a new team of Surveillance and Fault Management team for a major telecommunications operator.
You will be delivering a proactive and professional power and environmental event / alarm registration function covering a UK wide energy estate, controlling and managing at Power & Environmental alarm events using defined alarm collection and Telemetry -based systems. Once priorities are defined and captured in the Remedy management system, you will assign for Power & Environmental trained field engineers for investigation and fix. Additionally you'll act as the single point of contact to all field based P&E engineers working on live faults or completing routine maintenance actions, you'll collect and publish all planned P&E maintenance work schedules and programs for all sites, to confirm their success and completion, include on-load generator test schedules. The role offers opportunities to develop.

We want to speak to engineers with a strong understanding of P&E Planet Systems, DC, AC and UPS Systems, ideally gained in a large telecommunications, defense or utilities environment.
Understanding of the use of electrical SCADA collating and reacting to Power and Environmental alarms and events
Experience of working 24/7 shift work in a Power Management Centre or function would be strongly preferred.
