BSS Customer Support Engineer, England
Penta Consulting are recruiting a new opportunity for a leading global Telecommunications Vendor who have a UK office based in the South West. Our client who is a top 3 player in the Key Carrier Markets requires a 2G BSS Customer Support Engineer for a 3 month contract which is likely to be extended.
The main duties of the role will be :
- Give expert care and support both for customer account teams and for the operator and to provide technical leadership to complex E2E projects.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting within Multi Vendor Interface.
- Lead and provide consultancy during Software upgrades, technical audits and SWAPs.
- Implement parametering in systems level, understands KPI and improve the performance of the system or E2E solution.
- Manage network expansion activities up to multi-interface level.
- Have overall responsibility for test planning: understanding of local requirements e.g. network structure, functionalities and parameters.
