ERICSSON 3G Radio Design & Optimization Engineer, Vietnam

SELEK is looking for an Ericsson 3G Radio Design & Optimisation Engineer for our client in Vietnam. Candidates should have consolidated field experience in 3G Radio Network Design, in particular on following topics:

• RF knowledge about 2G/3G coexistence and co-siting
• PSC planning
• Location area and routing area planning
• 3G-3G and 3G-2G Neighbor lists definition
• Radio coverage plotting with TCPU
• Strong knowledge of common ericsson planning tools (TCPU, mapinfo, MCOM)

Consolidated field experience in 3G Initial tuning and optimization activities, in particular:

• Drive test logs processing and analysis
• RF changes for Radio performance improvement in unloaded network
• Statistical counters collection, processing and kpi analysis in loaded network
• Radio network troubleshooting by means of UETR and GPEH traces
• Good knowledge of common ericsson test and analysis tools (TEMS investigation, TEMS route analysis and data collection, WCDMA NeXplorer)

Human skills:

• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good leadership skills
• Good in customer relationship

Scope of work:

• MW radio long haul installation experience
• Certified to climb towers
• Installation & commissioning experience with MDRS155EC, 1 year.
• Change out of all grounding KIT installed on wave guides (Expertise in this area is required with minimum 5 years)
• Measure of humidity in the Waveguide & valuate if the humidity exceeds the maximum value.
• Measurement of return loss of the Wave Guide (WG) to determines damages of the WG.
• Pressure test of each WG, locate leakages.
• Terminate & re-terminations of WG connectors Fade margin test for each channel
• Antenna alignment Andrew 15ft
