IOT Engineer wanted urgently to work for a global, blue chip company and market leader within the telecommunications industry, based in Bonn and Dusseldorf, Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Field Test Engineer whom is highly competent in the testing and debugging of GSM communication systems to work on the technical approval of products with wireless carriers and get involved in field testing of new releases and products, investigation and debug of issues and verification of fixes.
The successful Field Validation Engineer with have live network test experience with the ability to identify specific test locations; experience in Field Testing and knowledge of interworking of cellular carrier, testing and debug of GSM communications systems and ideally strong problem identification / issue resolution abilities, ability to investigate and debug complex issue investigations, issue tracking and management, good understanding of the GCF Field Trial requirements and familiarity with the GSM Association DG.11 ‘Field Trial Guidelines'
Technical Skills: GSM/GPRS, Edge, CDMA and UMTS.
Candidates wishing to apply must be fluent in English and German and will be comfortable travelling internationally (on short notice for up to several weeks).
