A leading mobile telecoms company is searching for a RAN Configuration Engineer to join their team in Hertfordshire on a contract basis.
The RAN Configuration Engineer will be responsible for following a SAP process of creating new and modifying existing configurations of RNC, WBTS and WCELL. You will load XML and commissioning files into NetAct, use ABCS to audit the new or re-configured WBTS, WCELL and Transmission to confirm the implementation is correct and check alarms and operational CS/PS call handling statistics to ensure the element is working correctly.
Candidates must have strong operational knowledge of Nokia UMTS RAN / MORAN equipment, strong administration, configuration and fault diagnosis via NetAct applications on Nokia UMTS RAN, expert 3G knowledge and an understanding of IT connectivity between NetAct and other elements on the enterprise LAN.
