A fantastic opportunity has become available for a RAN Engineer to work as part of a Radio Access network team that manages a multi-vendor 2&3g network across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Our client a leading mobile network provider is looking for a RAN Support Engineer to be the 1st point of contact for all RAN related availability problems.

Key responsibilities:

• To monitor the network availability to ensure that all key performance indicators are adhered to.
• To ensure that all faults and service interruptions are captured in the trouble ticketing systems, providing regular and accurate updates.
• To follow all processes and procedures, identifying and informing the RAN shift leader of any improvements required.

The RAN Support Engineer should have knowledge of 2G/3G RAN networks and 1st line support. They are also looking for someone who has knowledge of RAN NEC equipment.
