You will be responsible for the development of Access Transmission Strategy, supporting the Regional Network Planning Teams in delivering key elements of the project.

It is essential that you have a background working on an active 3G network.

This role will include:

• Planning activities for the extension of fibre routes to Transmission High Sites
• Planning activities for SDH microwave backhaul onto the dark fibre network
• Development of strategy for upgrade of Node B sites to POPs for SDH MW collection
• Co-ordination of site surveys
• Scheduling & Management of suppliers

Your skills must include:

• A strong background in telecoms
• Excellent knowledge of 3G & Microwave access transmission network planning
• Understanding of fibre network planning and design
• Successful delivery of technical projects
• Strong communication skills
