An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer with a strong background in the mobile telecoms industry to take the role of Principal Consultant. You should have a background in Circuiting, with a strong knowledge of 3G networks and Cramer. You will be responsible for assisting our leading mobile telecoms clients with candidate selection for high profile 3G network projects.
This will involve:
- Devising a technical competency based pre-screening interview for potential Circuiting Engineers
- Conducting technical pre-screening on selected candidates
- Coaching & Training
- Team Leading / Operations
- Occasionally providing cover for sickness / holiday
This role would suit a Circuiting Engineer who would like to take a new step in their career. You should have a strong background in Circuiting, with excellent knowledge of the following:
- Previous experience of creating and managing implementation of network circuiting and jumpering data in RAN/ transmission cellular environment.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Mapinfo, Enterprise, Business Objects and common relational databases.
- Excellent knowledge of Cramer
- A background in team management or training
