RAN Configuration Engineer - Mobile Telecoms / 3G - Urgent requirement for a RAN Configuration Engineer to work for my client, a blue chip mobile telecoms company to join their team in the South East on a contract basis.
The RAN Configuration Engineer will be responsible for creating and loading the company's RNC XML print-back files into an Oracle database and following SAP processes of creating new and modifying the existing configurations of Nokia RNC, WBTS, WCELL with the projects new names and creating XML files and Commissioning files as well as forwarding these files to the RAN Configuration Engineers to be loaded into NetAct. You will also be responsible for checking alarms and operational CS/PS call handling statistics to ensure the element is working correctly.
Our client is looking for a candidate with detailed operational knowledge of Nokia UMTS RAN / MORAN equipment and elements managers. As well as exposure to NetAct, SQL, MS Access via ODBC or Oracle.
