3rd Line IP Operations Engineer, England

Our client is looking for a 3rd Line Operations Engineer to provide a highly available IP network infrastructure. To continue to develop existing networks for increased Return on Investment and to complete future capex projects for external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• To maintain high levels of service continuity on IP devices for both internal and external customers.
• Take the lead and responsibility for technical direction/ decisions within the team with an aim to provide an IP network that is 99% available.
• To provide 3rd level technical support for Cisco IP devices on all daily on-call basis within a team, on devices under vendor support contracts.
• Candidates must have a background in configuration and troubleshooting Cisco hardware routers and switches in a LAN & WAN environment.
