RAN Engineer (Front Office), England
Front Office RAN Engineer is required to monitor the availability and performance of the Radio Access Network comprised of 2G, 2.5G and 3G equipment (BTS, Node-B, BSC, RNC) and all associated transmission infrastructure (radio and leased line).
Key Responsibilities
- To perform 1st line diagnostics / remote restoration / raising of a trouble tickets.
- Monitoring the 2G RAN Network.
- Maintain the availability and performance of the RAN in line with KPIs.
- Provide fault co-op and expert advice to resolving agents.
- Previous working background within network monitoring / management
- Excellent understanding of 2G / GSM architecture and functionality.
- Good understanding of digital transmission principles PDH and SDH
