Main Skills required:

• First level technical support for customer queries.
• SW maintenance activities: installation & test of technical/change notes /change deliveries.
• SW upgrades and technical audits on site.
• On-site support at customers premises participating network operation service, when applicable.
• Plan and run a subproject (like SW upgrade, SW change planning, Tailored technical support)
• Installation and/or commissioning and/or integration activities.
• Network expansion activities.
• Technical/customer acceptance testing.
• Implement parametering in the network elements’ subsystems (understands KPI and the impact on the performance of the system).
• Participate multivendor and 3rd party activities (installation, integration, interface troubleshooting).

Nokia BSC (BSC3i and BTS) experience required.

Senior Transmission Optimizer

The contract is based in Iraq-Bagdad.

My client is one of the biggest telecommunication services company and is searching for a Senior Transmission Optimizer.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive background in designing Backbone and Access Transmission Network either via fiber optic, microwave radio, HDSL or VSAT.
• Have a strong knowledge in microwave path profile and path/link budget calculation using transmission planning tool such as Enterprise V5.1/Connect & Direct, Net Act Planner V5.04 and V4.10, MLPERF and Pathloss V3.0 & V4.0.
• Have an extensive working experience in Access and Backbone GSM Network Transmission Audit and Optimization.
• Strong knowledge in Map Info, map reading and E1 loading analysis.
• Have a strong knowledge in transmission equipment dimensioning of Nokia PDH &SDH radio, Siemens PDH & SDH radio
• Hands-on experience on Flexi hopper
• Have knowledge in conducting Radio Frequency Interference testing using Spectrum Analyzer. Have a working experience in RF Planning for GSM.

It is a 1 year assignment renewable.

Senior Core Optimizer

The contract is based in Iraq-Bagdad.

My client is one of the biggest telecommunication services company and is searching for a Senior Core Optimizer with NSN experience.

Requirements:

• Good track records in NSN CS Core network planning and/or optimization projects.
• Experience in CS Core technologies, protocols such as Rel 99, Release 4, Iu-over-ATM/IP, SIGTRAN etc.
• Good knowledge in NSN (mainly ex-Nokia products) 2G/3G MSS server optimization.
• Hands on Core Network Dimensioning and Performance Measurement tools. Legacy/NG IP technologies/protocols such as Soft switch, multi-layer switching, IP addressing, etc.
• Expert on signalling link analysis and optimization
• Excellent in CGR utilization analysis and optimization.
• Expert on Clear Code analysis
• Verification of quality parameters and network performance Optimization
• Good English experience knowledge, Arabic will be a plus.

Educational Qualifications and Experience :

• Minimum BSC Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• At least 7 years in the GSM Environment
• 4 years in CORE Optimization
• 1 year project management

It is a 1 year assignment renewable.
