JOB Description:
- NOC Network Analyst I/II.
- Primary responsibilities include responding to NOC Element Manager alerts in a timely manner and initiate corrective actions to restore network service.
- Coordinate fault resolution with operating company field personnel, NOC, and vendor support teams.
- Make recommendations and take actions to prevent network interruptions and / or service degradation.
- Provide Tier-2 technical support for all assigned Motorola, Lucent, Nortel or Ericsson wireless digital voice and data network elements (Base stations, switching platforms and other network elements or products, to include 1XRTT/EVDO, MR, INA, CALEA/SRP, Voice Mail, T2T Dispatch Gateway).
- Analyze switch/network element messages, perform equipment diagnostics, follow vendor-troubleshooting procedures, and take corrective action to minimize service interruptions.
- Provide technical and analytical support in determining the root cause of network problems and implement action plans.
- Communicate service and technical information to NOC support personnel, vendors, and other support centers.
- Utilize NOC supporting systems, processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate trouble ticket resolution and activity reports.
