Penta Consulting require Data Transcription engineers for a project in India starting in February 2010. This will be for the roll out of mobile number portability. The main requirements for these positions will be excellent experience in data transcription for MSC/MSC-S, MGW, HLR. Previous Ericsson experience is essential for this role and you must be available to start on this project by next month. VAS Technical Project Lead, India

Position  : KPI Owners
Location  : Gurgaon, India
Experience: 7-9 yrs

Skills Required:

• Advanced Telecom, SS7 & Networking domain skills, VAS Domain/Application specific skills, Backup /Security field.
• Deep engineering troubleshooting skills for application/Interfaces/DBs and process orientated person.
• 3-5 years experience in supporting Telecom VAS software products / applications or in IT field.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure all team is familiar with the contracted Service Levels and service obligations for supported accounts.
• Should be able to define Process/Best practices for Tech operations for process/operations improvements.
• Perform incident management analysis, Carry out trend analysis on all incident types to determine areas where efficiencies can be achieved by reducing the number of incidents raised.
• Escalate unresolved issues.
• Ensure accurate and responsive alert monitoring & usage by team.
• Work with managers as required ensuring issues are resolved.
• RCA & possible remedial measures to be identified with in defined period of identifying a problem.
• Provide & review inputs to monthly customer reports.
