NOC Manager - strong network, infrastructure and operations background required and will have managed either IT infrastructure, data center or service center previously.

• Accountable for the successful operations, support and delivery of external(customer) services and maintaining high quality and achieve and exceed service level to customer expectations
• Line management of staff who report to this role
• Provide leadership to all SSC staff and maintain a unified vision and maximum efficiency

Further duties:

SC-CS CORE Network Engineer, Canada

SC-CS CORE NETWORK ENGINEER is urgently req'd for Commissioning, Integration, System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Engineering support for CS Core elements at customer MSO and /or Lab facilities. SDH Project Engineer, England

SDH Project Engineer - Mobile Telecoms - A leading mobile telecoms company is searching for a SDH Project Engineer to join their team in Berkshire on a contract basis.

The SDH Project Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and application of ATM configuration data to the network in agreed time frames and to agreed standards. You will perform quality checks of all data prepared before application to the network to ensure that input errors are kept to a minimum. This role will focus mainly on the Nortel Passport data but will also involve some knowledge of Nortel and Alcatel SDH equipment.

Candidates must have good knowledge of transmission equipment - SDH (Nortel 4k, DX, OME6500, Alcatel 1641, 1660 and 1670), good knowledge of transmission management systems (Nortel Preside and OSP, Alcatel NM/RM), and ideally an understanding of mobile systems (GSM/UMTS). Job Description:

• Good understanding of Standard Ericsson CS&PS switches Counters, KPI and its formula.
• Understanding the definition of CS&PS Core indicators and key performance indicators.
• Experienced with Ericsson Performance tool for measurement collection, scheduling, analyzing and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Ericsson data/measurement flow from NE to OSS.
• Familiar with Ericsson Measurement Data Export interface.
• Knowledge of Ericsson OSS Performance Database and the structure.
• Experienced with Performance Management Tools (e.g. Metrica , ENIQ).
• Able to use basic MML command for checking and monitoring Core measurement.
• Able to developed UNIX shell script & SQL Store Proc for PM data extraction.
• Experience of MS SQL and MS Application.
• Experience of working with large databases such as Oracle, MS Sql.
• Good understanding about business object (query designer).
