Currently we have an opening for LTE RF Planning & Optimization Engineer with our client in EMEA region. It is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Realization of network planning and optimization projects for commercial GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks.
• Improvement of radio network performance by appropriate approach.
• Network performance statistic data analysis, drive test data analysis, signal tracing data analysis and troubleshooting to improve network performance.
• RF parameters analysis, changing proposal and implementation operation to improve the radio network performance.
• Technical communication and clarification (e.g. RF parameter workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
• Technical support to pre-sales project on RNP&O issues and communication with customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience in RF planning and optimization.
• Experience in GSM/WCDMA/LTE technology and ability to optimize networks to improve the performance by the experience of RF algorithm & parameters.
• Knowledge of Nortel BSS, Nokia UTRAN and Client BSS products is desirable.
• Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (e.g. TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
• Team spirit and good intercultural/interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• You will have at least 6-8 years experience

Radio Planning Engineer

Responsibilities :

• GSM Cell site planning and site selection.
• GSM Network optimization.
• Activities include site survey, definition of RF parameters, Azimuth, tilt, power, neighboring relations and keeping acceptable levels of KPI's for RF parameters in GSM network.

Skills Description:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in GSM RF environment, preferably with knowledge of Siemens and / or Nokia GSM BTSE’s. Experience with any other major vendors’ BSS will also be considered. WiMAX exposure is an additional plus
• Good knowledge performing RF site survey, knowledge of RF planning tools. • Experience of a mobile/cellular/GSM communications company in a developing country setting.
• Should possess good interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance and support personnel of both the vendors and AWCC.

Responsibilities of RF Engineer II will possess the following:

• Cell Site Design (Advanced Level) - Generate market designs, issue search rings, conduct site reviews and approvals.
